Score Notes and Claims Policy

TaroPrep is a study tool. It does not guarantee an official score, score increase, percentile, admission, scholarship, grade, or other academic outcome.

Practice scores

Practice scores, bands, and projections are estimates produced from TaroPrep items and scoring logic. They are not official scores and may differ from results on an official administration because of content, scaling, routing, timing, environment, accommodations, and test-day factors.

Recommendations

Skill priorities, study plans, college matches, readiness labels, and AI recommendations are automated planning aids. They may be incomplete or wrong and should not replace official information, an educator, a counselor, or your own judgment.

Examples and testimonials

A sample score change, user story, example dashboard, school list, or illustrative result is not a typical-results claim or a promise. Individual outcomes depend on factors outside our control. Where a claim is based on a survey, subset, simulation, or illustrative profile, that context should be read with the claim.

Cost comparisons

Tutoring comparisons use the hours, hourly rate, study window, and plan price displayed in the calculator. They compare cost only. Software and individual tutoring are not identical services, and the illustration does not promise educational equivalence.

No score guarantee program

TaroPrep does not currently offer a paid score guarantee. If we launch a guarantee, its written eligibility, study, documentation, deadline, and remedy terms will be presented separately before purchase. General marketing language does not create such a guarantee.
