Is TaroPrep free to use?
Yes. The Question Bank, a diagnostic, one mock exam, Week Plan, Word Deck, and a daily Taro cap are free. Complimentary Pro is on at launch so Stretch Sets and extra papers are unlocked. We will tell you before that window closes.
What makes TaroPrep different?
One desk for the Digital SAT. Question Bank mapped to all 28 skills, adaptive mock exams that route like Bluebook, Speed Drill for the clock, Stretch Sets for Module 2, a week that rebuilds itself, and Taro, a tutor that stays Socratic until you lock. Original SAT-style items. Not a dump of retired forms.
How accurate is the score prediction?
It is an estimate from our conversion of module accuracy and routing, not College Board scoring. Treat it as a band, not a promise. Official scores only come from an actual SAT administration.
How does Taro work?
Taro is our tutor, powered by xAI on the server. Each send uses one credit from a daily cap that resets at midnight UTC (8 on Free, 80 on Pro). Before you submit, it asks you to predict and kill bad choices. After you lock, it explains the attractive wrong answer. The key never sits in your browser.
Which exams does it cover?
Digital SAT is live: Question Bank, mock exams, Speed Drill, Stretch Sets, planner, and Taro. ACT, AP, and IB tracks are under construction. We will not pretend those desks are finished.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The app is built mobile-first. Add it to your home screen. Practice, planner, and tests work in the browser.
